Ginninderra Catchment Group's mission is to ‘connect, support and lead local communities to maintain and improve the health of the Ginninderra Catchment and surrounding environments. It is both a community-based natural resource management organisation and a Landcare network, operating primarily in the north-west ACT Region.
The Molonglo Conservation Group's role is to help Landcare and ParkCare groups to undertake environmental protection and enhancement within the Molonglo and Queanbeyan catchments in Southern NSW and the ACT.
The Southern ACT Catchment represents all active environmental groups in the southern areas of the ACT. It covers the areas of Woden, Weston Creek, Tuggeranong and Tharwa, and provides a network for groups helping in their development and operation, providing assistance with project ideas, funding opportunities and providing a community forum for ideas and discussion.
The ACT Rural Landholders’ Association represents our members' views to government. It has taken positions on land use and planning, weed and pest animal control, lease terms & conditions, land tenure, government land acquisitions, boundary issues with government land, public and third-party access to rural property, environmental plantings, environmental regulations, soil conservation.
Buru Ngunawal Aboriginal Corporation was set up so that the cultural heritage of the Ngunawal people would be protected and conserved for future generations. It also works to impart knowledge about Aboriginal culture and practices to build better community awareness.
